BIG tank + small "O" = feeding issues?!?!

Something you could do, to get the sinking pellets down to your cat...find yourself a piece of pipe like pvc or one of the stiff filter pipes if you have one, and stick it in the tank. Drop the pellet down the pipe so the O doesn't see it sink, and your cat should be able to get to it.

I would do the 5 min rule if you put in 4 pellets and if not eaten take out.. Do this for a day or 2 he won't go long with out eating..

why not just feed them all sinking pellets.my oscar doesnt really like floating pellets.try a variety of food like:blood worms, brine shrimp(mine doesnt really like those),pellets, and feeder guppies(goldfish cause problems).oscars are straight-up carnivores,no veggies

thanks for the advice...i am already doing that ;) ...he's taking a liking to Hikari pellets and blood worms..i'm also going to try to give him some shrimp soon. as soon as i get some more for my Jar (he ate them all already)...

i understand the importance of a varied diet...besides who wants to eat pellets everyday anyways? lol
