Big tank

I had 2 in a 210 for about a year. Just don't plan to go much longer. They get so big and so powerful that they can actually break the glass of a tank that is made with only 1/2 thick walls.

Watch Craig's list. Deals on big tanks aren't as rare as you might think.

Thanx for the sites pacu mom. Although It looks like building my own pond or enclosure is going to be way WAY cheaper than those custom places. i'm a pretty handy guy and I hate spending alot of money on something when I can make something way cooler for the same price. I almost dont even want to pay for the 200 but I have a motorcycle buisiness to run so I need something soon until I have some extra time. How many do you have in your 300? i'm not an "official" member yet so i cant view profiles or anything.

We have two large red belly pacus. Nothing else in the tank.

wow thanx, dmopar74. I didnt realize how cheap those are compared to glass aquariums. it may not be as pretty but I just looked it up and they have up to 500 gallon tubs. The portability is attractive to me. just drain and roll out the door. Sweet. With the money I save i can make the dopest rock waterfall and enclosure.
