Big Tanks = Boring Tanks?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I really like a scaped tank but plants are a no go because my fish would destroy them and also I can't have much stacked up because they would knock it down and injure themselves, it's not always an easy thing to do...

i make an effort but it is hard, my tanks not huuge but even with 12 inch cichlids you have to use large deco and obviously fake plants if you want greenary..
imo theres no excuse for a completly bare tank! everyone can afford a piece of driftwood to form some cover... all the fish we keep will want cover at some point!

I use strawberry planters, pots and pvc fittings in quite a few. Cheap way to add cover and add some scenery ..... Not as cool looking as driftwood and rocks but functional for sure.
