Big Update on collection but the last for awhile...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for all the compliments guys.

Rich- these azuls are all from you besides the 4 SF ones. I was heavy with feeders till they got to 6". Now I have some eating pellets and all eating tilapia but are all still in the 6-8" range.

Solomon- I still have the black cuban gar and it is still extremely dark. It is in a "different" tank now and I wasn't able to get pics of my prehistoric fish.

Omega- there are over 50 pbass all together. They are azuls, kelberi, intermedia, mono, orinocensis, pinima and xingu.

Marcus- Thats a supposed "royal" lates niloticus which are "supposed" to stay under 3 feet but who knows

Awesome collection! Loving the big azuls, and that intermedia....:WHOA: You're orino in the 6th pic is amazing too!!!

Hi

ok so the blue eyes and the slightly different pattern have something todo with the "royal" status? How does a royal niloticus look adult, do you have any pictures or is it just the same look like the normal niloticus?

Concerning the size: As far as i know the normal niloticus can reach up to 2 meters, if the royalis just a colour variation i don't think he will will stop at the half way.

But ok the 2 Meters were the record, but i would calculate 50" to be shure.

totally different coloration.
the biggest i saw was about 1.5-2 feet and still had that bright coloration.
the royals get to 80cm not 2m.

I dont honestly know much about "royal" lates more than what I have been told and read here but the fish is not growing fast like other lates I have had so thats a good sign and it def has stronger coloration than most other ones at this size...
