Lack of body being found yes. Lack of hair samples and dump dropping no. There are records on both samples in many different areas of the world being that of a large unknown primate.
We still have vast forest in the US unmapped until this day even with all the eyes in the sky. Plus it's not like the government is out looking for things that go bump in the night. Instead you have a few out shape dudes with no $$$ like myself out there hoping to catch something. Bigfoot is out there, indigenous people who live in those areas of the world aren't wrong.
