No way, these two are completely different. Nessie is much less plausible due to the limited amount of space that we CAN completely cover. You may be surprised at the sheer size of some of the inhabited forests of America. It is impossible to completely cover these grounds, especially if what your looking for is trying to intentionally hide from you.

Oh yes sea creatures? There is a very good chance, ever heard of an oarfish? Their the largest boney fish yet they've only been seen a handful of times. I imagine that deep down there are some large, creepy creatures.

Apparently plenty of people have, we just never hear about it because the timber companies pay them off. The companies, don't want people to know about them because of all the territory they could loose.

Try thousands of years. The belief was started by native Americans thousands of years ago. Its actually impossible to believe in it. If they've been around as long as the legend to survive there couldn't be just one or it would have died long ago. Thered have to be thousands. And what happens when one dies? Nobody found a carcass of one? There's thousands of them remember? Uhuh...

For those of you that wonder how We never find bodies, when's the last time you saw a dead bear or mountain lion that died of natural causes? When dying, predators hide away in the most secluded areas, so they can die in peace and not be disturbed.

Actually we do found dead bear and mountain lions that died of natural causes. Even dead small predators can be found. So.......why we cant find any bodies of bigfoot?
