Bigger hob filters?

I was wonderin if there was any bigger hob filters than the aquaclear 110. More gph, just all around better. I most likely will be pickin up a 125 gallon tank and if possible wanted to do 2 or 3 hob filters. Or another idea was 2 aquaclear 110s or 2 aqueon 55/75s withh a canister. Awhat would be sugested if i realy want to have good filtration?

The a.c. 110 is the biggest and best.....the aqueons and a good med. To large canister will work well.. either setup should be fine....

Supreme made a HOB called an Aquamaster 600. It was bigger than the AquaClear 500 (110). Put out 600 gallons per hour. It was a good filter. Don't know why they discontinued it.

I think a large hob or 2 such as a empoer 400 or AC 110 and a big canister filter such as a api/rena xp3 would do good...

If you get a lot of filters for it and spend 200+ dollars it might be worth just getting a fx5 instead.

I still like your original options and lean towards the 2aqueous and a can.....

I have had three pengium emperor filters and they were all awesome. I can't say enough good things about them.

3 ac 110 i dont like canisters i run both on my tanks but if i was doing it over no canisters for me ac 110s are pretty cheap to run
