Biggest and best canister?

What is in your opinion the biggest and best canister filter? I'm pretty sure the fx5 is the biggest and it has to be the best as everyone has them. So what do you think is the biggest and best canister filter?

I have read a lot about about canisters. At one point I was looking into adding one to my 125. A lot of people like the FX5 but there seems to be a lot of problems with them leaking. A lot of complaints about the "cheap plastic junk". I like eheim. I have not used any of their canisters but I do have 2 of their 1262 pumps and like them better than any others I have tried. Quiet, efficient, and continue to pump lots of water when the prefilter is dirty. Gotta think that their canisters are the same way. Just seems to me that most people don't wanna shell out the $ for eheim. The same thing goes with the Tunze line, big $ but great filters. I don't think that tunze has a canister. I have read where cleaning the FX5 is a pain, but don't know for sure. I guess like most things its all up to personal preference and your $. For myself, its Eheim or nothing.
 
Iv been doing alot of filter research for my next tank upgrade, im probably going with a fx5. Most people on mfk who use them like the filter very much. Just gotta make sure the girlfriend doesnt see the price tag or ill be sleeping on the couch lol
 
Eheim 2262, hands down, absolute BEAST!

I am running 2x FX5s right now and both of them don't hold a dime to a single 2262 that I've used in the past.
Stocking levels are much lower in comparison and the FX5s just don't cut it.

Really? I'm not even going to get an fx5. I'm getting an equal cost 3000 gallon pond filter which I will add a 3000 gph pump. Along with a 5000 gph sump. I don't feel like the fx5 will work for me. They seem to small scale and way to over rated. They seem like junk along with almost all fluvals. I have one and I hate it. But this question wasn't even for my build lol. I was just wondering.

I got an fx5 because i had a petsmart gift card. But if I had a big al's gift card I prolly would have gone with a big ehiem.... My next big tank im just going to get a sump...
