I was reading through some stuff and heard that glasscages sometimes gets bad reviews. I am looking for a 8x2x2 or bigger if cash allows. I wanting tank and stand. and have squandered away 1500. for it, including shipping. i know i can build stand, but not as nice as i seen GC.com stands. what are other GREAT tank makes that can accomadate my price and size, or bigger :) if if can squeeze in it under 1500

agreed

oh no, want a nice looking centerpiece and I would not trust myself with powertools to build a big tank that i hold 100s of gallons of water. so need tank makers guys

+1 I bought from a petworld 210 not drilled stand and stops for 1029 including tax you should be able to get some deals. Or Craigslist most fish keepers when you get 240 are going to take care of their tanks and could find a really good deal

Not sure about the biggest set up you can get for that kind of money if you are looking to have it shipped..Depending on where you are on...earth lol,and where the tank would be shipped from, the charges alone would take up a good amount of your squanderings...

Thank guys, see I can get a new 240 with stand for 1260, shipping 150 to Charlotte, which is only 45 mins from me, friends own a furniture store so I have access to Penske type trucks, I don't mind new for that price but i seen threads on here saying negative feedback on them
Once in a while a deal comes but my CL is one of those gets the 10 gal tsnks for 100.0o lol

The only thing I see wrong with the Glasscages tanks is, they really aren't purty. They are fish room quality. Not living room quality. I would just be patient and look for a good used one on Craigslist. I have found if you look at the ones that have been listed for a long time you can usually talk them down more. Also look at the cities an hour or 2 away. I got a brand new 240 acrylic that they were asking $1500 for for $400 and a used glass one of the same size, complete set up for $250.

i have looked down to Georgia, lol I am NC, none atm, guess I;ll wait, I still got 6 months before i need one
