Lol YEa ive had my golden almost that long 2 years this summer actually... I like feeding live he eats everything.. like EVERYTHING... always hungry lol even when he cant eat anymore he still tries... I feed live because i have him in with a TSN and a Pike Characin... Hes bold too he takes food out the mouth of this thing. i get scared because the crayfish can snap his neck when hes that close lol he swims and stays right in between his claws until he can get the food lol. usually shrimp,....

Thanx ive been trying to find another one so i can breed them.. these are the biggest ive seen... crazy.. just cant find out wat it is.. people have given me ideas he gets brighter red... that pic is of him maybe 2 months ago
 
the other day my xingu 1 went and tried to take food from him and him clamped on his tail and tried pulling him into his cave... its was crazy i was like omg so i put a piece of market shrimp in his cave just for him...

does it make any difference at all, the size of the tank - or will CKs just keep getting bigger no matter what?
 
hey i was wondering if the spots on the ck was any thing but the way it was born bc mine has 5 and all the other ck i see have more and they are only like the size of a dime
 
when a fish is as wide as the tank. it needs a little upgrade. but it seems like a healthy fish! youw ill find if you move it to a bigger tank, like most fish it will become more active. grow faster too! 16 to 20 in no time!!
then you can feed it monkeys , which is its natural food in asia
ok im kidding:D
