Biggest Filter youll ever see on a 10 gallon!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it looks like a PITA to service. do you have to remove everything to get to the foam at the bottom?

Ok in all seriousness. .. what is the process to clean that beast? If it had 15 gallons of water youre well over 100 lbs?
Can you drain it somehow?

Looks to be set up just like that smaller 500 and 700 models, which I own 1 of each. The pump is at the bottom and will pump the water out of the canister just like a regular water pump...which it's essentially is.

Do they work well? Never seen one but it has caught my interest

These are now my favorite canister filters. I'm not too crazy about the super tall 11i and 14i just due to the maintenance aspects of its design, but I love my CFS500 and CFS700.......and I especially love that's its a mere 1/4 the price of an FX
