Biggest fish for a 100 gallon?!

I think an oscar with a fancy pleco would be cool. Or maybe a pair of green terrors.

Wiggles; I definitely want to stay freshwater, but may convert it to saltwater some day...maybe. :)

Went to check out the tank today, it's awesome! Great condition, he has his fish in it and everything right now.

I haven't had time to look up most of the suggestions you guys made, but I will tonight.

You think an Oscar would eat the Pictus Cats if he was raised with them, and they were full grown? They're usually 4-6".

Gulper cats definitely get large (but not too large for your tank).... but I have never heard of them referred to as "active". Not particularly colorful either.... but they're cute in a fat/disgusting kinda way :). I've been looking everywhere for one for my 90 gallon. I just want to hand feed a fish again like I used to with my Oscar.

That's one of the reasons I'm really thinking about getting an Oscar, is because so many people say that they're like having a pet dog hahah. :) I have a dog(and a foster dog at any given time) but would love a fish-dog. ;p hahah.

Gulper Cats kind of scare me, I don't know why. I see them and I'm afraid they'll try and swallow my whole hand!

I don't think an oscar will eat a full grown pictus. Also if you want catfish why don't you go with a shoal of pictus anyways? or a shoal of 4 line pictus (pimelodus blochii)? They are like pictus (same family too) just grow a bit larger like 10".

< very good single fish, more personality than any other fish I've kept and ivehad a few
