Biggest fish????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No they are not the same But there is a Jew Fish or Goliath Grouper housed in an aquarium by my house and it is just massive. This thing could swallow a a 6 foot human whole. they are not good in aquariums at all they tend to just lay on the ground or back themselves into a corner. I got lucky enough to see it actually swim and its basicly an undersea tank! The size and length of the fish is unreal. I saw it open its mouth, that was amazing. I have a video and pictures of it I will post later. Also hungdang I found the 24 inch+ wild florida gar some guy caught it at a lake by my house back in the day and my dad still had the pic. Let me know if you need to see the proof.

Let's see the video, please :)

I saw three 6ft Arapaima in this LFS in Philly. It's not a zoo or public aquarium, but a row house converted to a store. There are also several 2 ft Pagu and sting rays in the same tank. The store owner said that one Arapaima jumped out of the tank by breaking the wall above and it took 3 men to carry the 150+ lb fish back to the tank. The store is feeding the Arapaima with chicken and pork and they look amazingly healthy. I don't know how the store can accomodate them when they reach 10+ ft as they are still growing. Those are the biggest fish I've seen in a near home, non-public aquarium environment.

This place has the biggest fish I've ever seen in a private aquarium. He also has some huge gars and RTC in the tank. It's Giant Aquarium, in south Philly. He has a large selection of Flower Horn, Silver Arrowana, and Blood Parrots.
