Thanks, I just found his thread with pics of it. It's definitely over 14" and it is THICK.

On the one hand, I can't wait for mine to be that big, but on the other hand, I want mine to have a much bigger tank than a 150 before he gets that big.
 
I have one that is pushing four inches lol.I'm new to them,have had this guy for a week now and although I've been reading on them I'm just wondering what you all think is the best diet for them.

Well it sounds like they are naturally a herbivorous fish, but mine both eat about anything. They get algae wafers, cichlid pellets (a couple brands), krill, earthworms, bloodworms, etc. They will also take seaweed and veggies like zucchini and of course algae, both of mine graze constantly. My larger one seemed to have a growth spurt when he discovered other foods besides algae. My smaller one has been eating well since his first day home, so we'll see if he grows faster from the start.

I have picked up a few since i posted last,,, i know have 2- 12 inch flagtails in seperate tanks, 3- 6 inch flagtails all together in a 125,,, and sunday im picking up a 16 to 18 incher from a fellow MFK'r he's going in my 240
 
Ive seen some huge ones on the internet
