Thats correct . 2 the Monster puffers are from freshwater basins of africa and will do well in pure fw.

these puffers are pure freshwater and dont need salt.Certainly not brackish.

We have had it since Oct. 2008 an was 5 in back then , but with 3 meals a day it is now 13 in in only 8 months .
