I had a male that was 14 inches but he was only 5 years old so he would have gotten alot bigger... But I was browsing the florida fishing records and the record Jag ever caught there was 21 inches I dont remember the weight probably 3.5 pounds...

I had mine for 2 yrs at 12" male. Jags could reach 14" in home aquariums. Maybe 16". But a 2 footer sounds like a fish story to me.
And I do 75%-80% waterchange once a week w/ good quality pellets.

I read somewhere that they can get to 24" in the wild but will be 16" to 18" in captivity.

Biggest Jaguar I have ever seen would have to be around 15-16". Largest one I have ever owned was 13-14" male. Jaguars have the possibility of reaching 20" in my opininon but you need to have a HUGE tank to get them to that size.
