biggest koi

Heres a monster I saw in Hawaii. The orange one on the top right of it was an easy 20" The little black things were guppies BTW
Poor koi... Being kept with tropical fish, great chance of dying.
Though guppies seem to get into every and any water system (I found about 300 in a drainage pipe at the beach... they floated all the way from a pond a block up the street.)
The largest koi on record was at a State Fair, and measured 8 feet.

koi are gorgeous as long as you don't get too close to them. those idiot gaping mouths get kind of freaky when they are like, 6 inches wide. my uncle owned a koi farm in colorado before he moved out to hawaii. had some gorgeous 3 and 4 foot koi there. my fave was the platinum one with a red spot on her head. go japan! 
those little fish are like little snacks for those giants they wont cause any harm as long as the pond is well maintained. and a 8ft koi that is crazy what was it next to the world smallest horse or the wolfboy/ it might be true but id have to see that, it sounds fake
I dunno I read it in some book or magazine. Maybe it was a first generation cross between a wild carp and a koi LOL .
.Oh ive heard of those wild carp they are TRUE KILLERS just look what happened to this poor fisherman

The largest koi to be found in the UK to date is a huge chagoi over 1 metre in length. Carp have reached sizes up to 90lb in weight (13 times the weight of a new-born baby!) thats not a koi thats a carp I have caught them up to 42lb but there are bigger!The largest koi have approached five feet in length. Females usually get much larger and therefore cost more than males
