BIGGEST OVERSTOCK EVER in 20 gallon tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
People claim my tank is overstocked with a Tiger Oscar, pleco, jack dempsey, severum, and a green terror. The way I have my 55 gallon set up though, is enough to make my water pristine. So even if you did set up a 55 gallon with those fishes and have the right set up,you shouldn't be seeing any issues. No I am not going to keep my9 inch Oscar in a 55 gallon forever, with the other fishes.I am upgrading to a 150 gallon tank by March

55, then 200 remember. 200 will definently make it better
The 55 gallon wil also be very overstocked, and the species you are keeping together are incompatible. And your ID shark is also going to outgrow the 200 gallon eventually.

Very true. Nearly 4 feet in length! Not for a 200g.

I'm very aware of this. It will actualy be put in either our natural pond (approximately 70'x30'x8) or in a man made concrete pond (about 1500 gallons)

Okay, well that's fine then, but you still have to deal with the stocking issues with the 20 and 55 gallon and the long-term damage those situations may cause.

I'm aware of this too. I don't plan on stunting the growth of anything at all or over crowding anything. This is the only time I ever have done it and I don't plan on it happening again. I just posted it because this is a first for me and I wanted to share it lol but I do have long term plans for all of my fish so that is not an issue
