Yes they are definately one of the poopinest fish i've ever seen.

Yeah, I like him, too. Especially when he ripples the surface as he moves around the bottom. Not a bad trick considering the tank is 34" deep. But, if I'd known just how much waste he produced before I got him...well, maybe I would have reconsidered and gotten myself a draft horse instead. The horse would leave less waste to clean up.

BTW, awesome pleco. Congratulations.

That is a big pleco! Kinda gives food for thought to the whole "fish story" exaggeration. "No, really, it's THIS BIG! I swear!" Your pleco seems to be interacting with you - raising his back... is he telling you to get your hand off him? LOL Whole potatoes, whole.

A lfs here had a 22" common that was not for sale, since the owner couldn't bear to part with him. It was in the first ever shipment to the store, and became their mascot. Unfortunatly it died about two years ago.
