Out of all the fish that I've had so far, getting rid of my jardini was my biggest regret. The death of my fire Eel due to a bacterial infection, was pretty brutal also. What's yours?

My biggest regret goes back to 2009. We had a terrible blizzard that left our town without power for two weeks and coated everything in snow. To be honest, it was horrible. Thank the army for providing me with sub zero survival gear or else that coulda sucked.

But I digress. The biggest regret for me out of that is that my 3" baby died in the freeze, and I lost my entire saltwater setup that I had about $3000 invested in. Sad, sad day.

Trading my stingray then selling my 1.5' rtc and 2.5' tsn and indoor pond.

Taking in a RTC for free. Lol great fish my mean male Jag hates him at 14inches and RTC now at 12 inches. He allows him to stay in the corner of my 180 since he is use to a 75 by himself.

A few I can remember. I overreacted to what I thought was fin rot and bathed my 13" peacock bass in medicine. Fish dies the next morning. I saw the signs that he isn't comfortable but I thought to myself, this is for his own good. Wrong! Few days later took another peacock bass and few weeks later, 2 more. Later I saw that this supposed fin rot is this fish's inherent coloration. Noob me is an idiot. Another time, I took a very beautiful red devil (surely it is not pure). He's about 8" and has the black spots at the right places. Together with him is an 18" giant gourami that by Day 2 eats in my hands. Both are devilish and terrorized the tank for days. I had one week of sleepless nights thinking I will wake up to a few dead fish as I heard the splashing and the tank bashing. After a few injuries to my other fish, I had them exchanged for a peacock bass each. Every time I return to the shop, I look at them and think to myself I wish I have a giant pond. I gave these two together with a 7" JD who bites my PB's in their eyes. He is dead now coz they kept him with 20 other red devils and 3 more giant gouramis.

Holy shizzle, sounds more like a survival movie than a regret post. Sorry for your lost though
