Biggest regrets?

I had a Pinstripe Damba (Paretroplus menarambo) and I had it in a tank with Five Stars and an Oscar. It lived for a while but when I went off to Army basic training it died while I was away. My wife wrote me a letter telling me the news. I actually cried. I regret keeping that awesome fish with such aggressive tank mates but figured the Damba was 12" and could survive. The Five Stars spawned and that was it. They killed that peaceful fish and I am responsible.
Getting rid of my 12"RTC and buying a second clown knife and Florida gar.

Buying all those black neon tetras knowing the procedure to make them "black" and they all died within 3 days got money back but am still mad at myself

the day I came home from holiday after 2 weeks and the neighbours didn't feed my fish enough. moray eel killed the rare panda puffer and ate his flesh. died stragith after, send the tank into a spiral and everything died... including panda puffer and polenni grouper
came back to a house that stinked and a tank of dead corpses and tonnes of orange goo. had to fully disinfect the tank after that. Wish I would have gone back to marine but I decided to get a pair of oscars after that
