yup heard a lot of people do that. and then marvel at the size its got after the first year of feasting! why not keep indoors all the time though?

Cuz My tanks dont get that dirty. I have one 3' whos keeping my 60g clean. And thinking a bigger one will only starve to death. So That why im going to tranfer him in summer and puting him back in winter. So where can i get thos Zebras? No lfs around here have rare plecos only albano and com.

try classifieds or go to zebrapleco.com and see if any of the breeders on there are selling etc etc

Most LFS have them available, but do not stock exotic plecos. Just ask. If not, Barbie has them, and she is a breeder located in Spokane. Blue at exotic finds has them. I would still check with the LFS first.

I don't think you want to experiment with pond to tank transfers with zebras. 1" juvies average $100 each. That's alot to lay out without even knowing the parameters your pond will go through seasonally yet.

Without question! Zebras are not a pond pleco.

Ouch $100 is alot for thos guys.

$100 is very little for one of those guys. They are often 150 for 3/4"-1" and 250-300 for 2" and I have seen up to $500 for a 3.5" adult L046. They are also not the most expensive of the plecos by far.
