I thought I should post some pictures of my mbu’s. They are named Billy and Bolla (but I don’t know their sex). I have kept them for almost half a year, and now they are about 11 inches. I really love them. They are not just fish – they are pets. They are real charmers with their big eyes and alert attitudes.

This is Bolla:

And here is Billy:

(I am tired of all the comments on tank size needs in mbu-threads. Please just enjoy:)).

eriken, as the others have said your mbu's look awesome so you're obviously taking great care of them for now. However the reason tank size gets mentioned so often is because Mbu's get huge. Now I'll be the first to admit that there are a hell of a lot of people out there who will automatically jump to the conclusion that someone is not prepared for the eventual size of the fish they keep. People definitely need to be more considerate and patient and if they have a concern about tank size they should handle it in a much better way than they tend to do.

That being said, 2 Mbus, whether kept together or in separate tanks, are going to require some big ass tanks. If you're prepared for that eventuality then good for you and that's all that matters. :)

Liam, no offense but of course it matters. Current tank size may be adequate as the fish grow but eventually an Mbu is going to require a huge tank. Again, if you are prepared for that eventuality then good for you and best of luck to you. I've wanted an Mbu for some time but it's unfortunately going to be a long time before I can adequately care for one long term. :)

the pic of Bolla with the marbles could get POTM in my opinion. That's one of the best pics I've seen in a long time.
