Bio Cubes

There was a consignment sale going on in my area today so I stopped by. I picked up a ton of Bio Cubes for $60. I can't find much about them online, does anyone know anything about them?

They are biomedia that is in the shape of cubes instead of balls and they connect together. I heard some one say they are used more in commercial aquariums.

I've seen these somewhere but can't place where. They look like they have a lot of surface area. I say great find.

Can you remember who made them? I've seen them. I just can't remember where, maybe that's why, it's from way back. It doesn't mean they aren't good though poster. I'd use them.

Looks similar, not the exact same.

I'm definitely going to use them. I wonder how they rank compared to other biomedia such as bioballs or pot scrubbies?
