Bio Gold+ and large cichlids??

thanks for the input guys. new question now. what food gets the best colors from your fish?
Any high quality pellet will do such as hikari or NLS I prefer NLS but it all comes down to tank size, dominance, and most important genes... No food will bring out color if your fish does'nt have the genes for it....

I think NLS is better ingredient wise and nutritionally but really it comes down to personal preference. There's been plenty of discussion, could even call them wars on the best food brand. The important thing is a high quality pellet and great water quality.
NLS has a moneyback guarantee if you want to try it. If you don't like it, try something else or switch back to hikari.
As to your original question, small pellet size should have zero negative on your fish. It's actually a lot worse to feed your fish pellets that are too big... It can cause digestion issues and foul your water up with all the chewing they have to do to eat.

I also use NLS along with the occasional Omega One. I've used Hikari Gold and Bio Gold+ but it actually seemed to dull out the colors of my fish, primarily my flowerhorn (in my avatar), a bit when switching from the NLS.
