Bio media as substrate....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hello; I decided to follow this thread a few days ago. I held off making a comment. My question was to be about how ceramic bio media gets worn out but i held my tongue. I finally decided using the old media as a substrate was a personal choice which does not harm the fish. So, my take is it falls under we each get to run our tanks any way we wish.

At this point it is become entertaining.

Any substrate will help your fish de stress and become less aggressive. They're trying to tell you they don't want bare bottom tanks even if you think it looks cool. Yet another post of yours where you want opinions but only if they align with yours...don't want to touch the filter, don't want to gravel vac, just want a bunch of large aggressive fish in a small glass box with no natural elements save a piece of driftwood to make them feel at home. And it is ugly, sand or gravel would look much better.

It was the same type of response in his last thread when he just starts flaming. I think danotaylor danotaylor said it best he’s a total tosser.

I knew the style of this thread was familiar! I remember this guy now...

It's that unique combination of I-know-everything and I-need-help-but-be-careful-what-you-say-to-me. Not sure if I would choose the word "entertaining", though...:thumbsdow
