thanks for the help its much appreciated i ran it today with no filter to see if it spun it looks to be ok. i didnt have it in a tank i filled a bucket up and all i had to do is tilt it a little and it ran great. Again thanks.
i have bio wheels, emperor and penguine, and also acs. i have to say i definetly like the aquaclears more. they'll be the only hobs that i buy from now on.
