Biohome Ultimate vs Seachem Matrix - Low Budget Science Experiment

I really like my 2 cups of free, sugar sand, inside a fluidized cylinder. That 2 cups can process something like 30 pounds of live fish ammonia wastes.

I have both medias and inside a canister filter they seem the exact same. But in my wet dry trickle filter the biohome really seems to work better. Ir it may be just me thinking it does who knows lol.

i know this thread is getting old but biohome works very well and it reduced the nitrates less than 5ppm. I am very happy with it.
