Any leads for this AWESOME animal, the worlds largest land dwelling anthropod?

I think we are too late on this one.I was told that they were readily available a few years ago but now they are threatened and restricted and on some list or another.

ive heard that but cant seem to confirm it. I know that on many of the islands they are found on their numbers are really high.

I think they would be one awesome "pet"!

I was and would still like to have one but it was Oddball who told me about their status.They are collected and eaten in large numbers on some of their islands.Last spring I went to a reptile show and a friend who went along with me claimed to have seen one there,he didnt mention it untill we were well away from the town the show was in.If I had seen it there,there would have been a hostage situation as I can imagine what the price would have been LOL.
