Do you think they would be expensive?

Most ofcoursely just because they are such an oddity and are soo hard to come by.Maybe they were cheap to buy years ago but now,I think they would command a pretty penny.

Agreed.I've caught land crabs in Puerto Rico but nothing like theese of course.

I saw there was some big crabs on the other site for sale cheap but they only lasted a matter of hours..... Nothing close to the size of that dumpster diving land barge of a crab though.......

Do they eat meat? Can you imagine that creature riding shotgun while cruising the country side in hopes of finding a fresh batch of roadkill for it to snack on?

Derfinetly an animal worthy of the name "Zoidberg"

The crabs are baisically just giant hermit crabs. In fact the young do use host shells.

Diest are the same but they are know to crack coconuts with one claw and eat them. They also have a funny habit of going into homes or tents and stealing shiny object such as pots or utensils and taking them back to their burrows to "collect" lol!

Just imagine you could train one to climb up someones leg and pick their pocket LOL.

Can you imagine if you owned one of these things and someone broke into your house... Not only would the crab go try and steal back all the shiny objects he was stealing, can you imagine the reaction of the intruder? Now that is one heck of a guard crab.

These guys are so awesome, but I would think the breakout problem would indeed be an issue. I would imagine they would be good escape artists.
