bite me

Clove oil. Get a predetermined amount so that you don't kill the fish but that way you can still dump it all in at once. Remove hand then somebody else remove fish, since you'll probably be in a lot of pain :)

He is looking to get some pain... let's not make it sugar coated for him.
Remember guys, he DOES want to live. Who wouldn't... a cone snail is lethal, as is the blue ring octopus.

I say we set him up with a big lungfish. Sure, he will live, but just like Irwin, he'll need some hospital care. But hey, this is all about TV, and entertainment.

I would gladly offer to have you use my big one - I'd love him to be a movie star!

omigod, you guys are superstars. i love this.

  1. yes, i've looked into the cone snail. no, we will not kill our host this year. cone snail = death. death = non-fun.
  2. we're booking some piranha-action to start from cuz most people think they'll eat you, and most people are wrong. we'll try to get an out-of-water bite, since they have a panic response to being out of the water, but we have to use a shark-safe glove so that our guy can keep all his digits.
  3. tranquil is a very interesting idea - got our researchers looking into it. clove oil is most intriguing. where'd you get that gem?
  4. an earlier suggestion - to simply remove the fish from the water to release its bite - is also v. clever depending on the species.
  5. santoury - tell me more about your lungfish. i love your make-my-fish-a-movie-star kinda attitude! ;)
  6. hitec_lowlife - are you a hobbyist or do you play with fish professionally? five stars for most vivid chili-in-the-veins description.
  7. does anyone ever keep sea urchins privately? jelly fish? electric eels?
  8. we're looking into morays, and hoping to play with eels in the wild. they are such ugly beasties! look like someone took a snake and an alien and spun them around in a blender!

thanks so much for all of your help guys! "bite me" more...

(ugh, dirty)

Look into Payara Armatus and get some footage of large wild ones.. Doubt they're that mean in natural setting but from the look of them viewers won't want to step foot in water anytime soon.

Also arapaima gigas is a good one. Huge fish, most people haven't seen/heard of before. Also bumble bee grouper and potato cod which get huge.

BTW, this guy who is ok with testing his limits sounds like you're representing Johnny Knoxville... lol

wobbegongs
if you get him in a chain mail suit, you can do other sharks.

the ultimate test!!!

how about getting that fish that swims up your penis! anybody know the name?

candi ru .. someone already said candi ru but theres two kinds.. the small one and the one that lives in deep water below 100km or ft I think. that eats dead fish from the inside out.. make they're own opening too..

the candiru??!! a bit sadistic dontcha think? ...and that's by my standards! isn't there, like, a code amongst men to NOT advocate the impaling of a fellow mate's best bits with the barbed spine of a parasite?

requires surgery to remove the little buggers.

besides, his girlfriend would kick my ***.

do any of you know any gnarly marine biologists who might enjoy an on-camera experience explaining the biology of our nasty nibblers?

wobbegongs are v.groovy sharks... but sharks have been done a million times. would you still sign up to watch another shark bite? is it still exciting?

thanks!
