So after seeing High City Rida's awesome cichla display for the second time, I have decided I want
My plans are for a tank with a 96"x24" foot print, either a 240 or 300g(you can suggest bigger but not going to happen). Is there any cichla that could live in that tank for life? I really like the look of the Monos and kelberi would either be acceptable, if so how many? I don't think I could ever keep the cichla with my silver aros, because of the severe DE one has, it could not compete for food.
This is more just casual conversation, as I do not plan to have the tank until spring and with the remodeling of the fishroom I really don't have room for growing any out right now.
Any advise/wisdom for experienced keepers is gladly welcome.
