Bizarre behavior?

I have this male motoro for little over a year since it was a pup. Not too long ago I saw it do the wildest thing. It swam to the top of the tank and then inverted itself to cling the the top of the water tension. The funnest part was that it just stayed that way and float around the top of the surface of the tank with it eye balls sticking out of the water. I will have to try and get this on video as I never heard of this before.
 
Hahah, that's awesome. I would love to see that. I don't know ANYTHING about Motoro's, but I'd think that would be common if your fish does it. I'd like to hear if other people's rays do that too.
 
I've had rays do that and every time there was amonia present in the aquarium.

But he just mite like doing that... who knows.
 
deff not normal. something is wrong IMO

i had a male do this when he was getting picked on RELY bad. he wouldnt go back to the bottom he was so scared
