BKG tank mate?

Update I did put the the two together and so far its been a sucess. at first the shark did chase my BGK but then realized that he wasent going away and decided to share the same hide out. At first the shark did try to pick at the BGK tail but then realized that it wasent food. They have been in the same tank for two days now had everyone is still alive and everyones fins and tails are fine. Thank You all for the advice.
 
2 days isnt long theyre still adjusting to each other.

i had a baby bgk in with a rope fish and they would swim side by side. one morning the bgk was eaten.....

keep a close eye on the 2 fish. i would call the mix a success if they life for 6 months with no problem (even then the rts can change his mind and torture the bgk) always have a plan b ready
 
I will keep a close eye on them if I see any type of aggression between the two I have a 20g that I can put the shark into.
 
Give it plenty of territory (hiding spots) and it should be fine with the BGK.
