Black Algae Issues

Im having the same issue. i pulled all my plants out of one tank and am dosing with algae fix. however i now have it in another tank and i dont want to have to do the same thing as you. My tanks have diy co2. good luck with your tank and i will be watching this thread to see if anyone has a good way to get rid of it.

I am thinking about removing the bogwood tomorrow, scrubbing it, remove any leaves with it on as well, then put it all back in.

I did it once in the past, but I guess there is no harm in doing it again....!

Excel, have been dosing it for awhile now and see no ill affects, just bright green plants and algae.

You can spray it directly on the algae also.
