Cr. cametana. Rapps has these in stock if anyone is interested. Pretty rare in the hobby and an unusal pike with interesting behaviour.

Tempting, very tempting. For his prices they are phenomenal as well! Just not my type of pike though. LOVE their colors as adults though, especially the female! Just such a rich black color. Great pikes for those who like the unusual!! :D Don't get very large either!

PP or anyone/everyone lese for that matter-which is more black the cametanas or xingu 3s

camentanas...;). The xingu III's have more color to them though....more active and what not as well...;) Camentanas are cool pikes though, definately a rarity! First time in two or three years since I've seen them for sale in the states! :WHOA:

who has the pics for pikes.

Just how big do they get? how many will fit in a 45 sho or a 55gal.

Females should develop a bright, scarlet-red edge to the rear portion of the dorsal fin when ripe.

They only grow to 8"-9". They are also a 'hopper' so don't need a ton of space. You could easily keep an individual specimen in a 45 gallon tank. That would be it though. It would be an individual specimen tank.
