You need to be prepared to separate your arowana if you do try to grow up together. One black and one silver that I have now would not live together when they were 12-16". So your combo may or may not work, or it may even take numerous attempts. Just remember you need to be able to separate them at a moments notice.
Think ill leave the Silver for now till i have the tank and just concentrate on bulking my Black up!
