Sorry Scot, back from my little vacation. Sounds like you have had some results with the prazi pro. Is it pooping at all? If not you could try getting it to eat cooked peas(maybe mix with one of it's regular foods) or dose the tank with epsom salt @ 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons.

Hopefully you'll figure this out as I don't know what else to suggest.

hay welcome back to the land of the undead...lol...i am just suprised i was not on a vacation aswell...it seemed like overnite anyone with a few thousand posts was out...

it does look like the prazi has reduced the swelling some, rough geuss of about 1/4-1/3 in reduction, it is still early in the treatment so it might still go down...it is still swimming at a 45 dagree angle though..i have never seen it pooping...as i thought it could have been plugged up from the expiered meds so i started watching more closly for any poo and what condition it was in...

i did a salt treatment when i first notice it and it only got worse...

i may try some peas to see if i can get it pooping while i am looking at it to see if it is pooping at all...

it is very strange...its appitite has not dropped, it has been regrowing its tail at a desent rate...it has not been adding alot of size overall in this time frame, just tail regrowth...also its colors have been getting better and better every day...yet, all the while my silver under the same conditions(- the missing tail) has been growing at my above average rate and has surpased it in length and mass...

sorry I just saw your thread now, nice to see Brian back too- Ive used skinless peas, that were soft from defrosting them, to clean a fishes pipes out- the problem is getting it into a carnivore- if I remember right, I soaked it in the shrimp or fish juices to get the fish to take it- but Ive never had this problem with an arowana- as far as the epsom salts go, I havent tried it, but from what I understand, its more like a dip or bath, you dont really add it to the aquarium, but Im not sure

i'll keep the peas in mind...i have some split peas that i tried and it didn't even look at them...i just hope my L018 finds them and eats them so i don't have to get them out...it does seem that the prazi pro is making it better...it is now swimming at less of an angle and more often skimming the surface...the swelling had reduced some more aswell...i have just herd of prazi for parasites, but it seems to be doing the trick...aside from an ever growin tapeworm i can't seem to think of any other parasites that would make the stomach expand...even then the tapeworm isn't even in the stomach...
