Dodgefreak and myself have had a very similar experience with this type of death. We have a theory that we'll be working on (posting) in the near future so fellow MFKers may possibly avoid this situation.

I don't wish this on anyone....it really sucks to watch a beloved fish die.

I hope there is a way to find out what caused this beautiful black arow with no drop eye to just suddenly die..
