I'm glad you're noticing slower growth rates as well. Mine is growing slower than a silver.
 
Hey Justin, have you ever been to Mike's Killerfish in Denver? He's got a nice one about 11". Between seeing it on a weekly basis and you posting pics of your beautiful fish, I'm having a hard time resisting the urge to get a black. Of course the $250 price tag helps deter me.
 
I have been there. The one thing that I really don't like about them is he had the same aro listed on aquabid for $150.00 . He marks it $100.00 up for locals. Kind of a rip off. I would definatly go for a black aro though. Best fish purchase I ever made.
