Maybe aros develop it over a long period of time, mainly as they get older. The silver grows fairly fast so it gets DE quicker than what a black would. My Biology teacher and I came up with a theory that it may be caused by the muscles in the back of the eye start to become weak with age just as a human's muscles become weaker with age. Just our little theory.

well...blacks and silvers are closely related species...so though it isn't common for black to have de, but i'm not surprised if they do get it
