Can i put a 2-4inch black aro in my 100g 5'-18"-2' tank for a year? I cant get bigger tank yet, i have to wait but i will be getting a 6'-2'-30" tank in a little less than a year.

they grow about an inch a month, says the experts here... you'll be cuttin it close i bet... by the way, where did you get 2 small black aros like that, i've found them to be pretty hard to find.

if you can find them that small it will be ok for a year in that tank.

i havent found them yet, but my lfs special orders

yea that doesnt mean your gonna get them they are VERY hard to find at that size i bet the smallest you'll beable to find is 6" prob 8" tho....but yes they could do a year max at 4"

and im guessing he meant 2-4 inches not two 4 inchers...but idk

i meant 1 2-4", and i just went to my lfs today and they said they could get me a 4inch at smallest, which i guess will be fine.

You should be alright. One thing about the tank you are thinking of upgrading to, switch the height and width. Aros get big, go for a 36" width, or a 30" at the very least.

o, srry posted wrong dimensions, itd be a 6'-30"-31".
