You might try mixing in some red wigglers with the bloodworms. I did this for my fire eels because they were the same way and now they eat bloodworms and red wigglers, and nothing else. Lol

you can mix dried shrimps with bloodworms for option its closest to bloodworm.

Maybe feed only BW till he gets some size, they dont put on fat till 5-6" which is when most people start moving to other foods

just make your DIY fish food. thats what i did. it has crushed hikari food sticks, sweet potato, spinach, salmon, tilapia and shrimp. add it in the blender until you get a paste. i add gelatin so theres less mess in the tank. freeze it. chop them up into bite sizes and store them. makes a lot of food for $10-15 dollars. then the next batch you make add more hikari food sticks to the receipt.
