Because my local water pH keeps rising, I'm unable to maintain my planted arowana tank any longer (will be switching to African cichilds). I've had this beautiful black arowana for 2.5 years. Beautiful coloration and very docile -- has lived with a school of rummy nose tetras for years! Missing barbels after he recently got startled and jumped but these should grow back. I originally bought him at 6" for $300.
Needs to find a good home in Southern California. Too big to ship. Truly a stunning fish.
I also have his tank partner for sale, a gorgeous flagtail prochilodus (phoenix to his dragon). He comes as part of the deal. I'm not interested in getting a high price for them ... I just want them to go to a good home. They've been great pets.
