black arowana not eating

I had a similar problem with my black. Its probably stress.
One way I found I could get it to eat was to tie (loosly) a fishing line to a peice of shrimp and go "fishing"
It seemed to work for me. Just be sure they dont eat the line;)

try black worms, their like drugs to them.
i had a picky jardini, but he took to blackworms easily, and i even had troubling getting him OFF the worms. o_O

Rite now the only spare tank i have is a 20 gal tall, so he wont fit in there. I might try to fishing string, did u tie it to something or did u just hold the line until it bites? My gets scared everytime i just walk by. I left my light off to calm him down a little too.

I tied the string loosely to the shrimp so it could fall off of the string easily.
