well recently my friend just told me about this website called www.fish2u.com it was selling baby arowans for only 22 BUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but sorry to tell u that it is currently sold out. i hope they restock soon.
 
so i went into my LFS and saw the black aro and was set on it. Then i asked the price not knowing what the ball park was going to be. He said 320 and the other guy working said 300. Now that i see the prices you guys are getting 300 seems out of control.

im in orange county, ca


is this too much or anyone know where i can get a cheaper one?
 
My lfs wanted $200 for 8". I offered $150, they said no, a week later the closing crew forgot to close the hood :( everybody lost.
 
mine was $200 at 8" I think I got a deal. Now they are going for $240 -$260 range

How big was it? I would buy it if it was a foot or larger.

it cant be any bigger than 10 inches id say. the first guy in the store said 320 then the other one pulled me aside and said 300. i dont know if they are just suckering me into getting a good deal or not. because once i showed interested in the fish they started talkin in another language. then when i left the store i told them i was going to get the fish in a few days. and when i was getting into my truck i saw them all laughing. so it made me a little hesitant
 
I paid $200 for a 20" a couple of months ago :headbang2
