Black arowana pricing?

wow that su**s. when i bought it the lady said it was a black arowana and the sign was labeled the same thing =/
 
250 for a healthy 10" black? I would buy it. These little buggers are sensitive to grow out.
 
why don't you wanna grow it out from baby to your size swervo513 like what you did on your silver.. it's not easy to find baby blacks now. only saw a few available this year since few years back it was band from export..what ever it is good luck with your hunt.. if you need more info PM me..
 
Thanks for all the advice. I found a 5-6" black arowana for $180 yesterday. I traded my 15" silver in. They knocked $50 off the price so I only paid $130 for a nice size black arowana
 
where in mass? did u find those silvers? I heard of a bunch of blacks coming into Massachusetts recently.. but everytime i drive an hour or 2 each way, to see these "Blacks" THey always turn out to be silvers.. Its basically like, a lot of people are trying to pull the wool over our eyes recently! VERY ANNOYING, Ive wasted a ton of gas!

Only blacks I have seen recently(Past month) is a 22" for 750$ and a 6.5" for 260$.

However I bought a black aro a few years ago for 25$, you can find my thread if you dont believe me... I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THAT DEAL AGAIN EVER SINCE!! NOT HAPPENING!
 
I live in NYC. and the black I have is 5 " about, maybe 6. He was listed for $180 but I bought him for $130 because I trade in my 15" silver. Going to buy a small silver for $30 this week.
