Awesome aro! That is a decent price. I've seen them for 3 and 4 hundred around here. They are always cheaper over the internet, but at the LFS you have the advantage of being able to see it in person before buying. Mine never passes up a cricket. Krill and shrimp are big hits, too. Is he by himself for now?
 
owh my2...i wish to get a black aro soon!! i wouldnt noe the reasonable price aswell...anyone could tell wht should be the reasonable price for a baby black aro?
 
Nice pick up!! He looks great!! Don't worry about the price!! You got him down, and I was talking to an owner of a LFS yesterday and he told me that black aros will be going for a lot more soon. They are in a higher demand and there is not enough. He's talking wholesale cost for a 6 incher might be $230!!! So if thats really true, you got a good deal!!! We aro owners might want to pick one up at the lower price if this is true. I could be wrong though, but that's what I heard.......

thats what he told me to, he even said that they might be illegal out of columbia soon just like they are out of brazil. then it will be even harder to come across them! get em while you can!

yah hes by himself, im moving him to a 75 gallon grow out tank for a few months before i plunk him in the 225 g with my silver
 
fairplay, lovely looking fish... great pickup.... n price is better than here in uk!
