Looks like a nice Black Aro! I've seen a 12" go for $150, but I guess it depend on where you're at.

True, just is a kinda scary thing to do sometimes. Anyhow, here on the big island of hawaii...you HAVE TO sometimes.

Since you're just beginning with the aro keeping. It'd be a better start than lets say a 3-4 inch one. But a 6-7 inch one would be hardier too. Keep in mind you would have to start off with a huge tank already as the fish is already 12-16 inches.

To me it's a good price, but then again, up here in Canada, blacks are pretty expensive... heck, you can get an asian green aro for less than a black. It's true.
