Sorry guys I've looked and cannot find the website were I saw them for that price. I could also be that I am remembering wrong also. Any how it was gonna be about 200 bucks including shipping, so I felt justified in paying what I did for mine.

thanks for trying though, I know of a place for $185 for a 10-12 inch black but its just too scary for me to actually order one. I would rather just buy one that the LFS got for $300 at 14 inches and make sure my aro makes it.

same here...ordering fish off the internet is kinda scary, especially shipped to us Hawaii boys...for one thing you wouldnt evan know the condition of the fish, let alone god knows whats on him (ick, parasites, etc.)....and yes, LFS prices are through the roof here...but, at least you can see the condition of the fish, personality, tankmates, water condition/fitration of tanks, etc.

bottom line: i'd rather pay the price for the guarantee that i'm getting the exact quality fish that i want.
